If you have not previously joined any of our groups, you will need to create a new account by clicking visiting a discussion group board via the ENTER link on the group's page and clicking on New User.

You must use a valid e-mail address, one that you can both receive and send messages from. If you do not give a valid e-mail address, you will not have access to any board. Group Testimonials Minimize
I have been a subscriber to the Info Advisors Listboards for over 7 years . These are the best run and most informative discussion boards that I have ever subscribed to.

When I require assisatnce with something; whether it be a problem with a particular tool or tool's feature, or some relevant 'theory', or help with best practices, that the experts who frequent these boards have been most helpful.

The boards are great too, if you just want to discuss a topic of interest to you, or one that might be controversial.

So, whether you are an expert or a novice, it does not really matter; you can participate in any of the discussions at any time. I have met and made some good friends on this board and recommend that if you are thinking about joining, to do so. You have nothing to lose but so very much to gain.

I have been an IT specialist in data modeling for relational environments for over 10 yrs. As an ERwin user, I have found the infoadvisors site to be the most accurate and complete source of information on ERwin (even better than the CA site!), as well as on more generic data organization issues. It is usually the first place I go when I have an issue I need to explore. There are several contributors that are very knowledgable in the use of ERwin who contribute regularly. Sign up for the digests for those areas that interest you. It makes it easy to keep up with current postings!

And no, I was not paid for this!

The boards make part of my professional life for more than 5 years now. In the meantime I did join - and leave - various other boards. The differences?
1: the amount of serious posts compared to the amount of spam-like posts, as well as the total amount of posts
2: the chance of getting a practical, helpful answer within a reasonable time period
3: the chance to meet experts, to share and expand your own expertise
And finally: 4 the friendly and lighthearted style of most of the posts.
